Manage Your Devices
Bittery keeps track of all devices where you're signed in. You can view active sessions, rename devices for easy identification, and revoke access to any device remotely.
Viewing your devices
Go to Settings → Devices in the web or desktop app to see all active sessions. Each entry shows:
- Device name (e.g., "MacBook Pro", "iPhone 15")
- Platform (web, desktop, mobile, extension)
- Browser / OS information
- Last active timestamp
- Current device indicator
Renaming a device
Click the device name or the edit icon to give it a recognizable name. This is especially helpful if you have multiple devices of the same type.
Revoking access
If you've lost a device or want to sign out remotely:
Find the device
Locate the device in your active sessions list.
Click 'Revoke'
Confirm the action. The session will be immediately invalidated.
The device is signed out
The next time the device tries to communicate with Bittery, it will be required to sign in again with the full credentials (email + password + Secret Key).
Tip
If you suspect unauthorized access, use "Sign out all devices" to revoke every session at once, then change your password immediately.
Session security
- Sessions are encrypted and expire after 14 days of inactivity
- Each device has a unique device key for session persistence
- The Master Unlock Key is never stored on disk — it's kept in memory only
- Quick unlock (biometric/PIN) is available on supported devices but never stores the master password
